February Volunteer Action Morning

Lead activity: sapling thinning

Join us on Saturday 7th February, 10-12, for our February Volunteer Action Morning, meeting at the green arch entrance at the end of Gipton Wood Road.

In February, we will be thinning saplings to improve age diversity and enhance regeneration. This year, our focus will also be on access and safety, taking out saplings that are growing too close to, or overhanging, the paths. These can make it difficult to get past, but also make the paths much darker as they block out the light when in leaf.

Activities for all ages, experience and ability, so come along and give it a go! Tea and cake at 11 as always! Meet
