December Volunteer Action Morning

Join us on Saturday 6th December, 10-12, for our December Volunteer Action Morning, meeting at the green arch entrance at the end of Gipton Wood Road.

In December, we will be removing invasive and non-native species from the wood, focusing on the invasive species planted around the substation next to Roundhay Road at the bottom of the gully. Unfortunately they planted Cotoneaster which is on the official list of invasive species so we need to get it out quick! There is also various snowberry and other non-natives that they planted. We will replace what we take out with Hawthorns.

Activities for all ages, experience and ability, so come along and give it a go! Tea and cake at 11 as always!
