bramble pulling

The July Volunteer Action Morning concentrated on bramble pulling, extending the area which was worked on in 2024, in order to help the bluebells in the area flourish.  It was a highly satisfying morning with the brambles lifting easily from the wood floor. We are hoping for a lovely showing of bluebells in this area next year as a result.   As usual we had a great selection of cakes to go with our tea and coffee part way through the morning. Thanks to all who participated and those who also do the very necessary and valiant work of litter picking!
